It didn’t rain! Thankfully the rain stayed away and the BBQ went ahead as planned. Rob was in charge of the BBQ and the rest of us talked fishing.

After the food, which was delicious, Rob held a raffle of goodies donated by fellow chalkstreamers. I was lucky enough to win a collection of Lydia Thomas’s wonderful flies, I’m looking forward to using them.

A grand total of £55 was raised and donated to Fishing for Schools – well done everyone.

Thanks to all who organised the night, donated a prize – see you all in the Autumn and hope you have a great season.
