Many thanks to Dom Garnett for his talk on flyfishing for coarse fish. His book was written in 2012 and many things & attitudes have changed since then.

Flyfishing for pike and carp is a thing, but flyfishing for other coarse fish maybe not as much, but there is plenty of fishing available to change that. He talked on flies and tackle to use, even if you want to catch a 45lb catfish on a fly!

Thanks to everyone who helped in setting up and packing down, washing up and attending – next Chalkstream Club is the First Cast Supper on Friday 18th April – more details on that to follow.
