Boundaries

I was lucky enough to win a copy of Hugh Milsom’s Earthsong book, which is full of striking monochrome images. His chapter called Boundaries really resonated with me. In it, he explores “the shallowness of human vision and the confining weight of procrastination, indecision and fear: many of our restrictions are man-made. Also the beauty of freeing your vision and seeing clearly.”

I doubt if any of that will be on my mind when I take the picture; I think it will be motivated only by the sight of a lovely fence!
