Storm Bert swept in and caused closed roads and chaos with snow, wind damage and floods. As always time to head to the beach to see what’s been washed up (nothing was).
Parked at Cogden Beach and the sea didn’t look too bad and I could see someone fishing. I walked down for a chat, he had only just started but was hopeful for a cod.
I walked east and found Bert had smashed his way through the beach and opened up the breach – amazing power and I wouldn’t want to be there while it was happening.
It was one of those overcast meh days, did a few ICM photos, which I liked the look off..
Walked back to the angler and he had caught a dogfish, pout and a few whiting – time to get my gear together for a fish tomorrow.
