White Nothe

A walk to White Nothe and maybe Durdle Door

Parked in the National Trust, grand views that make you stop and stare

Along the Coastal Path, other walkers taking the air

To the top of the Smuggler’s Path, not for me, I don’t dare

Found the spot for my ashes when I go, many a year from now 🤞

Down to the stone bench, tingling from the sheer cliffs

Directed a few to the main path, not the place to stumble about

Along to the Beacon, cheese & tomato rolls a welcome eat out

Durdle Door was just too far, so sat enjoying the calm

Rib full of tourists, speeding along, way below

Now lots of walkers heading my way, most say hello

Back to the car, time to rest and view the bay
